Salsa Picnic - Workshop, Social and Barbecue

Saturday the 24th of August, Salsa Viborg takes a picnic in Silkeborg's Indelukket.

The day will offer workshops in Cuban salsa for both beginners and more experienced dancers, followed by social dance, where you can mingle and dance all you want.
We will light up the grill. You bring your own food.

Cuban salsa teacher is Erodys Castillo Borrero.
Erodys has taken his dance education in Cuba, and has more than 25 years of experience through education, work as well as dancing and teaching in the following: Salsa, Rueda de Casino, Son, ChaChaCha, Rumba, Afro and Reggaeton.
His greatest strenghts as a teacher, in addition to his extensive experience, is that he is very positive, humorous and pedagogical in his teaching.

There is room for everyone who wants to join and the event is free.

You can buy drinks, as well as sausages and bread for the grill.

The program:

At 14.00: Workshop for intermediate / advanced dancers
At 15.30: Workshop for beginners
At 16.30: Social Dance
At 18.00: The grill is lit
At 20.00: Thank you for today

As the event is outdoors we recommend that you dress for the weather and wear footwear you can dance in.

There are parking facilities in Indelukket and at Museum Jorn, within walking distance of the open-air scene (Friluftsscenen).
